About Us
Welcome to Hills Pet Mates, your local, Aussie family-owned online pet store in Cherrybrook. We are a husband-and-wife team with an immense love for animals. That's why we're dedicated to keeping you and your pets happy with convenient ways to shop, including Same Day, Next Day and Standard Local Delivery, FREE Pickup from Cherrybrook, and Australia Post Shipping on selected products.
Having been pet parents ourselves, we built Hills Pet Mates for fellow pet parents because we understand that sometimes you simply don't have time to plan ahead — and suddenly realise you need food, litter or other essentials for your loved ones. We offer a carefully selected range of quality pet food, treats and everyday essentials, with a focus on convenience and trust. And with fast Local Delivery, Pickup and an expanding range available for shipping, we're making it easier to get the things your pets need.
Why Hills Pet Mates? 🐾
We live in Sydney's Hills District, and when we started our business, we wanted to create something close to home and close to our hearts. The name Hills Pet Mates comes from a simple idea: we're from the Hills, we love pets, and we want to be their mates! To us, being a mate means being someone you can count on — offering friendly service, genuine care and making life a little easier for local pet families.
As a small family-owned business, we also want to provide a simple, personal and efficient service. While we may not always be the cheapest, we work hard to keep our prices competitive while providing the convenience and personal service that comes with shopping local.
As we're still growing and want to make sure we provide the best possible service, we're currently keeping our local delivery area within the Hills, including Cherrybrook, Dural, Castle Hill, Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, Thornleigh, Westleigh, Carlingford, Hornsby, Wahroonga, Waitara, Turramurra, Kellyville, North Kellyville, Beaumont Hills, Norwest and Bella Vista, among others.
If you live close to these areas and local delivery isn't currently available to your address, please call us on 045-211-PETS (7387) and we'll happily see if we can help.
We also offer FREE Pickup from our Cherrybrook location for most products. Pickup is available Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–9 PM, with prior arrangement. If we don't yet offer Local Delivery to your area, you're very welcome to place an order for Pickup instead.
📮 Now shipping beyond our local area
We've recently introduced Australia Post Shipping on selected products Australia wide. If Australia Post Shipping is available for a product, you'll see it indicated on the product page, and eligible shipping options will be shown when you enter your postcode in the cart.
We're starting with a selected range and hope to expand our Australia Post shipping options as Hills Pet Mates grows.
And if there's something you'd like to buy that we don't currently stock, we'd love to hear from you. Please drop us a line through our Contact page or email to contact@hillspetmates.com.au . Your feedback helps us understand what local pet parents need and helps us continue building a range that works for our community.
